Dangers of Tritirachium Sp

Tritirachium species are the small proportion of fungal biota that cause effects like corneal ulcers and otomycosis. They do have reported cases of allergy. Their natural breeding environment is found in the spoil and decaying plants. Its other names are, tritichium sp.IAMI and Trtichium sp. IAM14522. It has the lineage of eukaryota, fungi, dikrya, and ascomycota. Mitosporic Ascomycota, then tritirachium. It is a genus used in herb.



It cannot be seen by naked eyes. They exist in buildings with low humidity levels. Places with low cellulose based materials also experience mold growth. Some of the symptoms of allergic reactions to exposure to tritirachium sp include; asthma, irritated or watering eyes, dripping nose, coughing, headache, sore throat, chest burning, dizziness, and memory loss among others. The mycotoxin found in tritichium sp is poisonous and therefore can disrupt cellular process that can affect the body. These reactions can cause the above effects or bring about opportunistic infections , rashes and skin infections, joint pains, bleeding in the lungs. If exposed to this toxin mold for long then a person can develop cancer, and get infections in the central nervous system.

The fungi can grow in basements of households or around the edge of bath or shower or on ceilings of the bathrooms. They produce spores that multiply to become airborne and therefore cause respiratory complications when inhaled. The severe damages that a person can experience include, organ damage, gastrointestinal illness, bronchial constriction and suppression of immune system. A person can become sensitive to mold that occurs with short time exposure to these molds. This can also occur with repeated chronic or serious exposure. This varies since it can be with one or more parts of the body.

Some of the other preventive measures of tritichium sp include; removing all mold growth as soon as they are knotted, information about mold growth should be communicated to individuals in buildings, avail enough evacuation avenues that occupants of a building can use in case of reports on mold growth. Occupants should not be present during mold removal especially those with severe effects like asthma and nausea. The standard protocols should be provided like those of the American Industrial hygiene Association.
