Mold. Info for a Healthy House
While executing a internet research for this article, I was amazed at
the variety of microscopic Fungi that are Molds. It was surprising to
find that over 150 species of Molds have been identified, a few can be
helpful, however several are not so fine, and very dangerous! One of the
most general but dangerous molds are the species of Black mold such as
Stachbotrys atir, penecillium, cladosporuim and aspergillius are dangerous
to our physical health and our homes
This is a look of a spore from a electron microscope seeing the Black Mold spore identified Stachybotrys Chartarun. These mold spores can be in our home, and in the buildings where

we go to work
in and are originated naturally in the outdoor enviroment. They can establish
themselves anywhere dark and moist, as these are the environment are what
these single cell organism thrive in, and the life of the spores are extended
where there is a food source. What type of food do these spore need? Unfortuneately
anything organic in nature, your dry wall, at the back your wallpaper,
on your interior wood studs. This menance can be seen anywhere these conditions
are located. Toxic Mold are what they are named and there are different
varieties. Black Molds create what are named "mycotoxin" which can induce
sickness or aggravate several medical conditions. Such as something as
common as a cough, itchy eyes and irritated skin to additional damaging
of your respiratory function by causing such dieases as Asthma, pneumonia
or strider. In some cases dangerous medial problems can be diagnosed from
molds toxicity such as infections and diseases of the liver, kidneys,
as well effecting your nervous system if a person is exposed to the mold
toxins for a sufficient time. Thus causing concerns, including dizziness,
effecting your memory or muscle weakness. We all may have heard of the
chronicle of King Tut's Tomb and it's Curse. Archives and notes have shown
that the tomb, when opened was heavy with the smell and sight of pungent
and thick mold. Because of the decade, little was know about toxic mold,
the spores were inhaled by many who worked in the tomb without trouble
or symptoms at first. The architects and workers worked long hours in
this exciting Tomb discovery, and then many of these worker started to
die. Leading to the "King Tut's Curse". However we now know that is was
not a curse, but more likely the toxcicity of the mycotoxins that all
were breathing in each day for long hours with out fresh air being filtered
in.It has merely been in the preceding decade that Toxic mold has been
more understood as a potential and deadly hazard to the immune system
for not only people in good health, but also for those with compromised
immune systems or the real young or seniors. When mold is exposed to air,
these spores will be emitted into the air quickly, if the air is not filtered
to take these spores and toxins out of the air we breath, these toxins
are inhaled in immediately. |

So, if you
smell something "musty" in your bathroom, or beside your AC unit, or under
a sink. Before looking into it your self, remember how Black Mold toxicity
can harm your health. Opening up a wall with mold is like opening the
porverbial "Can Of Worms". With out the correct protection, with in just
a short period, you could endanger your wellness and that of you relatives.
And let us not forget that these same toxins can also harm your pets. |
